Holidays in Mykonos
Mykonos is one of the most famous islands in all of Greece and is located in the Aegean sea, and belongs to the group of islands known as the Cyclades.

Visitors from all over the world head to Mykonos each year to enjoy the fantastic beaches, great entertainment and nightlife and to experience a truly unique holiday in Greece.

The streets of Mykonos are almost labyrinth-like and wind around each other. This was done on purpose to make it difficult for pirates that often attacked the town during the 18th and 19th centures. These wonderful side streets are the perfect way to explore and enjoy the charm and delights of the island.

The area known as Little Venice is one of the most popular locations on the island for visitors, and here you can find a great selection of shops, art galleries and clubs. It is a part of the island that is alive throughout the day and night, and is a place that all visitors will pass through at some point during their holidays on the island.

There are lots of interesting places to visit and attractions such as the Archaeological Museum, the Folklore Museum and the Maritime museum are all wonderful places to visit and offer a great insight into the historic past of the island.

Also worth visiting is the small but hugely important islet of Delos, which is located just off the coast of Mykonos. Here you can see the amazing ancient temples and statues. There are frequent boat excursions over to Delos, and it is highly recommended that you try and visit this amazing place.

Travelling to Mykonos is very easy with constant flights and ferry services to the island. During the summer month there are charter flights coming to Mykonos from all over Europe, and the island has excellent ferry connections with Athens and other islands in the Cyclades.
